Over the weekend I made the trip to Missouri to photograph Laura & Dustin’s beautiful, unique, and fun wedding.
I loved that the bride and groom got ready, together with their family and friends, right in their own home & one of my favorite things (and Laura’ s, too) there is this mirror.

Congratulations Laura & Dustin – many more favorites to come soon!

I woke up to this lovely email on a particularly daunting Monday morning that just completely warmed my heart. There are many reasons WHY I do what I do with my work, but this, this right here, probably has to be at the very top of that list. Mamas and their babies, no matter the age, completely have my heart.
“Hi Jenny,
I just got done looking through the pictures you took of [baby], and I just had to write you and tell you again how much I love them. They make me so happy to look at, and they still have the ability to bring tears to my eyes. You are so wonderfully talented at what you do. I am so glad we made the trip up there for you to photograph us. I know people thought we were crazy driving so far to get pictures done, but I think that was one of the best decisions I have made.
I just wanted to let you know.
Thank you again,
[baby's mama] “

Photographing this exciting time in a new mama’s life is something that will never get boring; I always love how excited mamas are for their maternity photos.
A sweet little field and some gorgeous light and the magic begins.
I would love to talk more with you about photographing your baby belly – contact me above to schedule your sunset session.
LOVE everything about this session. lovely!

A sweet glimpse…
Jacob’s sweet session with his mama was full of everything I love. Sweet people, gorgeous light, and some quiet snugly moments mixed in with happy, fun ones.
