Franklin TN family photography | my woodland creatures

One of my recent goals is to make sure I shoot a session of my own son at least once every season.  I hadn’t really planned one for right now, as we just had our family photos done last month, but my little family was out scouting a location for an upcoming shoot of mine last Sunday, and it turned into a fun little session with my boys.  I even handed my husband my camera to capture a few with me in them as well. I know exactly what he’s saying in this photo, “it’s stiiicky!!” My favorites are rarely of a child actually looking at my camera.  This image below is exactly why.  I could never describe this look to someone and I hope that I will remember it in 20 years, but if I don’t, I will always have this photo to remember his “thinking” pose.  These simply cannot be capture during a “say cheese” moment. And I LOVE that.
