This shoot with my son has been in the making for quite a few weeks now, partially as our annual Valentine’s Day shoot together, but also to celebrate a special tattoo I got last year for my birthday. It has many personal meanings, the quote below being something I found before getting in that really sung to me, but also to be a constant reminder to look at what is important in life, and that is family, being happy, making decisions that work for us. My husband. My son.
When I got it on my arm, my son would ask me what the arrow meant and I would tell him, ‘it’s for you. It reminds me that YOU matter most’.
It’s about finding your direction, aiming your attention where it needs to be. In business. In life.
So a few weeks ago, we braved the cold winter’s air and I had him throw his arrows any direction he wanted. Because isn’t that what we all want for our children?
Point your arrows where they need to go.
