I hope I can do this blog post justice 😉 Heather has become such a dear friend of mine since I first met her last Spring. There were four of us who organized a small photographer’s get together in downtown Franklin one morning and somewhere in between shooting ourselves and spending hours at lunch afterward we walked away with lasting friendships. I was crazy excited when Heather asked me a few months ago to do a session with her and her husband to celebrate their anniversary …they had never had professional photos just as a couple! We talked for months, planned some ideas, and when she mentioned bringing sheet music to their song, “I Cross My Heart” by George Strait, I knew it was meant to be. That was my wedding song as well.
When we met for their shoot, one of the first things I told them was I had nightmares the night before about something going wrong – Heather is way too kind about my work and had me all sorts of nervous! But once we got started and I was in the groove, I knew I was making some amazing memories. Jeff & Heather – congratulations on a truly amazing marriage and friendship (oh how I am jealous of date day Wednesdays you have!) and thank you for believing in my vision for these!
