Nashville Indie Wedding Photographer | Fershop Nashville

One of my goals for 2012 is to really push myself outside of my comfort level.  My safety bubble if you will.  The box I call my work.

Fer Juaristi.  He does that for me.  No doubt about that! I had the honor of hosting his Fershop Nashville at the studio yesterday and along with meeting a dozen or so other amazing photographers, I spent nearly 10 hours with a man who has art & soul flowing through his veins. We are very different photographers, yet I noticed we had some of the same starting approaches which was pretty interesting.  But then things we looked for different aspects to fill those things and the end results? Completely different.  So cool.

So…. I’m sure you will see lots of “me” in these images, but also lots of something else.  Something that is a huge S-T-R-E-T-C-H of me. Something where I shot completely different and took a flying leap out of the box.

(Can you totally tell which ones are my favorites?)

Thank you SO much to Fer for gracing Nashville with your talent and kind heart and thank you to Mollie & Kyle for being such an adorable couple for us!

  • Dawn Shiree - These are all amazing, but the ones of the foreheads touching took my breath away, Jenny! I can see that you were stretching here, but there is definitely a unique perspective that is still all *you*. Can’t wait to see how you incorporate the things you took away into your work in 2012. Thanks for staying up late to get this on the blog for us. Beautiful as always! <3ReplyCancel

  • Evan Hurst - You did a great job with these! I hate that we couldn’t be there. I want to pick a favorite, probably the reflection shot of Mollie in her dress where you exposed for the highlights. I love it!! 🙂ReplyCancel
