Nashville, TN family photographer | Spring Workshop

Happy 2012! I hope everyone had a safe and happy holiday season, and as we head into the new year I’m so excited for fresh beginnings, fresh ideas, and a fresh start that we’re so lucky to be given every January.

As you may know, one of my goals for 2012 is to hold my own workshop here in Nashville, TN. To be completely honest, it wasn’t until the last six months or so that I ever saw myself doing this. You see, I was the kid in school that simply could not raise my hand whether I had the right answer or a question. I was so afraid to be heard. What if my words didn’t come out right? (They still don’t always) What if that cute guy thinks I’m a complete dork? (I am)  Photography has shown me that life doesn’t have to be like that and I want to share that with other photographers.  I want to speak openly, honestly, and share what I can with others who are wanting to learn.  The Spring Workshop will be an open book, covering the basics of my work, vision, and process, and who knows what other workshops will bring.  We’ll talk about yummy light, scary pricing structures, amazing clients, finding your voice, and so much more.  All I know is, I cannot wait to welcome a small group of photographers into my studio & town…and into my life! Join us!
